This watch sets standards not only in terms of price/performance ratio, but also in terms of workmanship, reliability and robustness. The elaborate dial in combination with the satin-matt case and the highly polished bezel and the vintage-shaped mineral glass with the round sloping edge creates a very high-quality impression that otherwise only watches with a much higher price give. The automatic movement converts wrist movement into winding energy. The spring tensioned in this way drives the movement and, when worn regularly, provides a power reserve of around 42 hours.

This watch,like all common mechanical watches, is based on a design from the 1950s. The accuracy of such purely mechanical clock movements cannot be compared with electronic clocks. According to the manufacturer, a rate deviation of minus 20 to plus 40 seconds / 24 hours must be tolerated. If you are considering such a battery-free mechanical watch because of its energy autonomy, but do not want to tolerate the specific features of a mechanical watch (e.g. "only" 42 hours of power reserve), we recommend choosing a battery-free "CITIZEN ECO-Drive" (solar watch from Citizen , power reserve 6 - 36 months, depending on the model, accuracy/deviation approx. plus 4-8 seconds/month) or a Momentum DV52. These watches have an 8-year long-term battery.
